ScopeIMS offers an intuitive approach to managing site inventories, making it simple to meet all a program's inventory requirements. With ScopeIMS, a customer can initiate various types of inventories, conduct inventories using a scanner, smoothly catalog results using drag-and-drop action, and quickly reconcile any discrepancies.

ScopeIMS streamlines every aspect of asset management. From the Assets Master Table, quickly filter information, generate reports, and print labels. The Asset Details page provides deep insights into each item, including its location, stock level, mission readiness (failure status), and complete history.

This page also allows for immediate action: logging and resolving failures, assembling assets into parent assemblies, or consuming/deactivating the asset. ScopeIMS creates unparalleled efficiency and control over your entire inventory.

The management of every asset transfer, from initial dispatch to final delivery is available centrally through our user-friendly Shipment Manager. The Shipment Manager allows for the creation of direct or complex relayed routes and quickly generates the required DD1149 shipment form. Upon shipment arrival, destination sites configure alerts or complete the receiving process.

CHALLENGE

Client: A large USAF program with dynamic inventory that must be accessed simultaneously by multiple sites across the globe

Our client needed to streamline the management of their inventory, connect to ELMS, and become FIAR compliant.

SOLUTION

Focused Support partnered closely with the USAF program office during the integration period for the ScopeIMS system. Focused Support provided the following support during the integration period:

Assessed customer needs and current inventory
Customized ScopeIMS to meet client needs
Oversaw the review and cleansing of existing catalogs
Performed audit preparation, including connection and accuracy testing with ELMS and DLMS messages
Conducted training on the ScopeIMS system

Focused Support engineers worked with the customer to assess needs, organize catalogs, and conduct audit preparation. New modules were added to ScopeIMS to meet the customer’s needs. Thorough testing was performed on the connection and accuracy of ELMS and DLMS messages before ScopeIMS went live.

ScopeIMS is working successfully for the customer. The total time from award of contract to live and continuous ELMS connection was eight months.
